Бумажная почта в 21-м веке, или какой же нынче век?

Письмо из Питера в Одессу шло 22 дня. Почта работает, как в 19-м веке, если не хуже.
И не понять, какой же век на дворе, летают ли ещё самолеты, ходят ли поезда ?
